I told her that it was stainless steel. Looks great comes with a nice presentation pouch. Will go great with any bobble too.Only downside is there may or may not have been some machining residue as when my daughter went to wipe it with the cloth provided there was some debris, but that also could have been from her wearing it for a while.Yes I'd buy this again with out hesitation. I ordered too short and will be doing exactly that now. Also I'd recommend this necklace to friends.Yes… I lost my concentration for a few seconds there and ordered a length too short for me. However, I was pretty impressed with the chain. It’s of excellent quality, and I find that stainless steel can be paired with white gold, or even aged sterling silver, and they blend together quite nicely. Although the original one was handed off to a friend of mine, I did order a 36” length one for myself. It works beautifully with some larger stone pendants I have, and I feel they’re more secure with stainless instead of softer sterling silver. I’m really enjoying wearing it, and I never have to worry about polishing it. :) I think you’ll enjoy it, too, and there’s a wide variety of lengths to choose from.I'm truly annoyed. I like stainless steel bc it is so sturdy, shiny, and can get wet without issue of color change. This necklace came with a card stating 'don't get it wet, don't sweat while wearing it, don't get perfume on it!" I never saw such a ridiculous set of instructions . This is part of a gift and I can't return it now. But if it starts to tarnish, then it is NOT stainless steel. If it stays perfect as it should, then this company shouldn't send these notes in the package of stainless steel products.
